Brothers in May

I can see the rolling wheels of water tour upon the mainland that they can never reach; a tale of man and God.
Attack the beard of the ocean, a sandy bridge for the passerby, my brother, the youngest of us three.
Perch you, brother mine, closest to I in time. Perch upon the furthest stone that is the treasure of your quest this day.
I wonder what I am to you both if I have done my part as eldest, or if I have the time to fix it.
The waves have strengthened, have grown up like you two, as have I, to tower above the versions of ourselves that have passed.
What lies beyond the horizon? A world that is not mine yet also is at the same time? Perhaps that makes sense.
